This is the wrestling website of Scott Robert Fairbairn, Jr. - "Scotty" - started January 12, 2006. Scotty has really taken to the sport of wrestling and has proven to be an exceptional natural talent. As of the 2005-2006 season (his freshman year), Scotty was new to the Junior Varsity Wrestling Team at Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia and new to the sport in general, though you'd never know it by watching. As of the inception of this website, his personal record was 5 and 1, although his one loss was to a Varsity wrestler from another high school. Here are a few low rez pics of Scotty's latest exploits.

Scotty won all three of his wrestling matches at the 1/12/2006 Fairfax High School quad-meet. And you know why it's called a quad-meet? Apparently its because all of Scotty's opponents withered away when they had to MEET Scotty's powerful QUADS! and biceps... and triceps...

Blurry - sorry - a quick takedown - Scotty pinned a guy to win a match in 35 seconds! There was another really excellent wrestler who also pinned his opponent fairly quickly in this meet, although it took him an entire 36 seconds.

Blurry - fooey! This guy is arching his back, trying to not get pinned by Scotty. He succeeded... In getting TROUNCED!!

Blurry!! Boooo!! - Scotty!! Yeeeeey!! - Final match of the night. Scotty had actually been behind a few points earlier in this match but battled back and ultimately out-muscled his opponent. Towel guy smacks ref on his back to signal end of the match but the ref is a milimoment ahead of towel guy as he calls the match by pin in the last second of the contest! As with the other two, Scotty defeats his final opponent by pin!. Awesome!!! Crowd erupts into cheers! Teammates (and dad) surround Scotty with congrats and attaboys. DOGPILE!!!!! (Not) The End

Quick update: There will be additional commentary forthcoming, but in brief, Scotty took the Silver Medal in his weight class at this years's District Championships!! Not bad for total newbie freshman!! Here are some pics from the event - more to come...

So Scotty finishes with a winning record and a silver medal at District Championships. As far as we're able to piece together the details, it's apparent that Scotty defeated two varsity wrestlers (one of which we're certain) during the course of his freshman season. Can't wait to see how a year's worth of growth and training will improve his skills and his record for next season!

Remember your manners! Always help your oponent stuff himself up into your armpit. Eat well after each match to replenish your strength and always ask politely for other people's food once you've finished your own. Size isn't everything! Steroids cause hideous deformities. Besides, you don't need to be huge in order to wrestle confidently. Be a team-player! Individual contributions are the building blocks for team victory. And don't play in the road. I guess that one is an extra. Until next season...
